    The 2024 Class 1A girls' state golf tournament was a learning experience for Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn's Gracie Knobloch. Competing at the American Legion Golf Course at Marshalltown, May 23-24, the junior placed 38th in a field of 78 competitors. Knobloch's final stroke total of 192 was 50 over par.
