The Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn Community School will ask for voter approval to extend the Physical Plant and Equipment Levy (PPEL) for 10 years. A resolution of election approved on Monday calls for the question to be placed on the ballot for a special school election on Tuesday, Sept. 13. Costs for most goods and services may be rising, but there will be few increases in fees for the 2022-23 school year at Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn. The schedule approved by the board on Monday only calls for increases in activity ticket prices, which are due to changes in gate admissions.
