Two Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn seniors will continue their football careers with area colleges next fall. Keevyn Jacobsma and Travis Kamradt signed their letters of intent during the national signing day on Feb. 1. Jacobsma will join the football program at the University of Sioux Falls. Eleven Okoboji/HMS wrestlers were place-finishers at the 2023 Siouxland Conference tournament, which was held Feb. 4 at Sioux Center. An agreement for scheduled service of HVAC systems in all three Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn buildings was approved by the school board on Jan. 16. Bids for several improvements at Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn High School are scheduled to be opened next month. The school board approved the scope of the project on Monday.
