    • May 30, 1946 The War Department notified Mrs. Ruth Ann Wehler that her husband’s application to join him at his overseas station had been approved and she should make immediate application for a passport. 1st Lt. Wehler was stationed at Salzburg, Austria. Mrs. Wehler was making her home with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Hirt. The annual poppy sale hit an all-time high.
