    A nursing home in Sanborn is attempting to mitigate the spread of a COVID-19 outbreak inside the facility. Fourteen cases of COVID-19 had been confirmed at Prairie View Campus as of Monday, according to a joint news release by the Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) and O'Brien County Public Health.     An old school building in Hartley is ready to host a new group of students. Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn Middle School moved 11 miles east to the old elementary in the City With a Heart.     Mysterious packages of seeds have put ag experts in Iowa on high alert this summer. Thousands of American households began receiving unsolicited seed packages from China last month.     Northwest Iowa could use a drink. Dry conditions have expanded across the region in recent weeks thanks to a lack of rain in July.     There are few traces left of the old Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn Middle School. Cleanup work at the Sanborn site is nearly complete. On Monday, only the basement area under the old gym needed the excavator's attention, as rubble and steel from the two-story portion of the facility had been removed off site.
