Second graders at Clay Central/Everly and Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn can now read about the story of Caitlin Clark due to an act of generosity by her former coach. Dickson and Luann Jensen donated 50,000 copies of the book "Just Like Caitlin" to more than 600 schools across the Hawkeye State and in the Indianapolis area. The Everly City Council on Monday moved forward with plans to update its code of ordinances. City Clerk Kristi Fliss said the last time the codebook had been updated was around 2010. That’s long overdue, she noted, as a thorough review is typically advised once every five years.
