    A lawsuit over millions of dollars in damages allegedly caused by water contamination in the city of Sanborn has escalated with a new defendant added to the case. The Minnesota dairy cooperative Associated Milk Producers Inc., or AMPI, is suing the City of Sanborn in federal court, as well as the company the city hired to clean its municipal water tower, Maguire Iron of South Dakota.     A memorial service for Jennie “Jean” Denny was held Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2024, at Trinity United Church of Christ in Hartley. Dr. Lynn Dau officiated. Pallbearers were Jeremy Cauwels, Darin Zitterich, Craig Denny, Mike Honkomp, Gannon Cauwels and Greyson Cauwels.     Competing against each other for the second time, Central Lyon/George-Little Rock outscored Okoboji-HMS to top the team standings during a girls' wrestling tournament at West Lyon.
