Memorial Day services will return to form next Monday at Pleasant View Cemetery in Hartley. The final concert of 2020-21 was an appropriate send-off for Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn Middle School's longtime instrumental director. The seventh and eighth grade concert band, jazz band and choir presented their last performance on May 18. A proposal to dissolve the Everly Commercial Club and transfer remaining monies to city coffers has hit a delay.
