• Arrested on felony drug charges

A Hartley man was arrested last Wednesday after law enforcement found him to allegedly be in possession of methamphetamine.

The Hartley Police Department was notified that methamphetamine had been found at a Hartley residence. At the scene the officer was informed that the substance had been found in the garage, where contact was made with Cory Ray Mohni, 37. According to the report, Mohni admitted that he had methamphetamine and paraphernalia in his pocket and in a tool box. The materials were recovered by law enforcement.

Mohni was placed under arrest and transported to the O’Brien County jail. Authorities stated that Mohni was convicted for possession of methamphetamine on two other occasions, which elevates the charge for the current incident to a Class D felony.
