Funeral services for Claris R. Peters were held on Thursday, July 9, 2020, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Sanborn. Pastor Joseph Bangert officiated.

Casket bearers were Brent Zieman, Nathan Cale, Wesley Peters, Alan Beving, Luke Peters, Craig Zieman and Clint Peters. Honorary bearers were Carrie Torgerson, Christy Johnson, Courtney Cale, Mikaela Cale, Clarissa Kollbaum, Michelle Christen, Meika and Creed Torgerson, Karter Zimmer and June Zieman, Calvin Kollbaum, and Grayson and Collin Johnson.
