Friends of the Library recently requested and received funding for a new laptop computer from Valero Energy Foundation. The laptop will be used with the meeting room projector funded by a Valero grant, and it will also help expand programming and be available for patron use.
Friends of the Library was pleased to receive this funding to enhance the facility's services, which is part of the group's mission. Replacing and updating equipment allows the library to provide reliable equipment and services to its patrons. The Friends appreciate the ongoing community support for the library from individual, family and business memberships, donations, memorials and monetary gifts. All contributions, including memberships, are tax deductible to this non-profit organization.
