Handcrafted spinning wheel donated to Royal Museum

Royal Museum board member Buddy Yungbluth accepted this handmade spinning wheel from Kathy Miller McClernon as a donation to the Royal Museum. The spinning wheel was handcrafted in 1888 by J. Hullegaard before being gifted to his daughter, Abbie Hjelm.

Hullegaard was the grandfather of Alice Holtheus, a longtime resident of Royal. Kathy Miller McClernon is the great-great-granddaughter of Hullegaard....
