Clay Central/Everly Elementary Star Students

Clay Central/Everly Elementary recently named Star Students for the month of January. They included William Holmberg, sixth grade; Kaeley Benson, fifth grade; Khloe Combes, fourth grade; Hallie Fletcher, third grade; Emily Trierweiler, second grade; Ariana Dow, first grade; and Emerix Johnson, kindergarten.

At the end of each month a student from each class is chosen to be highlighted for their exemplary behavior, caring nature and overall positive attitude in and out of the classroom. Students work hard to achieve these high behavioral goals via daily participation and education on PBIS standards.

PBIS stands for "Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports." CC/E has been implementing this program for years, teaching students how to be kind, considerate, caring, and responsible in and out of the classroom.
