Class of 2021 returns to CC/E
Former Mavericks came to visit Clay Central/Everly Elementary classrooms last Thursday, adding an extra dose of Maverick pride to the final week of school. The halls of Clay Central/Everly Elementary last Thursday weren't just echoing in celebration of sixth graders moving onward to future middle schools, they were also filled with excitement at the arrival of a few senior graduates that used to call CC/E their home.
Former Mavericks Emma Larson, Chloe Kahl, Chance Noll, Jay Joenks and EmmaKay McClain gathered together for the annual graduation walk down the elementary hallways. With children lining the lockers, the graduates donned their caps and gowns to stir up some Maverick pride and receive applause on their graduation achievements. As usual, the elementary students sat in awe as they watched these former Mavericks in action.
Following the stroll, the graduates headed to the gym for games with the elementary students and chatted about their future plans and goals.
