Fundraising efforts for Hartley's new pool received a groundswell of support during Summer Celebration.
According to pool campaign member Jackie Stoltz (left), the street sign auction netted $7,035, while the quilt raffle garnered $1,620. Bingo on Friday hauled in $100.
"Overall, the pool committee had a pretty good weekend," said Stoltz.
Winner of the quilt was Megan Gable (right), of rural Hartley. Stoltz said the pool committee will regroup and start planning its next fundraisers for the fall. More information will be released in the near future....
