Hawks hold court at Homecoming

Homecoming at Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn was twice as nice last week.

Not only did the volleyball team win its first match of the season with a 3-2 victory over Harris-Lake Park on Oct. 4, the football team clinched the Class A District 1 title with a 61-13 drubbing of Hinton on Friday night. It marked the first time since 1997 H-M-S hoisted an outright district crown.
