Wild game feed in Royal this Saturday

The Iowa Great Lakes Fishing Club and the family of the late Jim McDonnell are sponsoring a wild game feed this Saturday, Jan. 8, at Haggy’s in Royal. A free will offering will be accepted.

All proceeds support the Jim McDonnell Scholarship Fund. See the ad on Page 3 for complete details.

Hope Lutheran Church food pantry

Current hours for the food pantry at Hope Lutheran Church in Everly are Wednesdays, 1-5 p.m. Everyone is allowed to come in and pick out their food, but masks are required.

Monday, Jan. 10: Breakfast – Cereal, toast, fruit, juice, yogurt; Lunch – Pizza, tossed salad, baby carrots, pears.

Tuesday, Jan. 11: Breakfast – Scrambled egg, cereal, toast, fruit, juice, yogurt; Lunch – Popcorn chicken, broccoli, peaches, chocolate chip cookie.

Wednesday, Jan. 12: Breakfast – Waffles, cereal, toast, fruit, juice, yogurt; Lunch – Taco, corn, sidekick, churro.

Thursday, Jan. 13: Breakfast – Egg wrap, cereal, toast, fruit, juice, yogurt; Lunch – Pork chopette on bun, carrots, banana.

Friday, Jan. 14: Breakfast – Biscuit and gravy, cereal, toast, fruit, juice, yogurt; Lunch – Fish sandwich, baked beans, orange.
