Golfers get first chance to compete

H-M-S girls, boys lose duals with St. Mary's

After having two meets postponed the previous week, Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn's golf teams had their first taste of War Eagle Conference dual competition. The Hawk girls and boys took on Remsen St. Mary's at the Remsen Golf Course on April 11.

H-M-S lost the girls' dual, 223-235. Elise Haack (54) finished second overall and Megan Ten Kley was third (56). Also competing were Gracie Knobloch (60), Abby Kunzman and Kaley Pearson (65) and Emma Schmillen (73).
