H-M-S tops Wolves, Falcons in girls' dual action
Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn wrapped up the dual portion of the girls' golf season with a victory May 6 at Hawarden.
The Hawks recorded a team total of 222 while West Sioux did not have a score as only two players competed.
Individually, Gracie Knobloch (49), Kinsey Schirmer (54) and Kaley Pearson (57) finished second, third and fourth on the meet leaderboard. Megan Ten Kley (62), Elise Haack (63) and Morgan Grooters (66) were H-M-S's other varsity players.
Playing JV were Abby Kunzman (57) and Emma Schmillen (71).
Due to a pair of cancellations, H-M-S only completed seven of the scheduled War Eagle Conference duals. Nine-hole scores at the girls' tournament on May 10 will determine the Hawks' final placement in the dual standings.
