Serving O'Brien & Clay Counties
July was a busy month at the Everly Public Library.
As of July 1, Christie Seivert took over as the director. She is not a stranger to the library, as many patrons have seen her during programs. She brings with her a love of reading and a wealth of knowledge about books.
The summer reading program ran for three weeks in July. It was great to see kids in the library pouring over books and enjoying themselves in the children's section. Program sponsors include: Evertek, Backroads Leather Shoppe, Godfather's, Arnold's Park Amusement Park, Hartley Auto Body and Glass, Fridley Theaters, Burns Chiropractic and White Glove.
Patrons are reminded that the library is switching to evening hours during the month of August. Chair yoga continues to take place at 11 a.m. on Tuesdays and Fridays. The next kid's program will be on Tuesday, Aug. 30 at 5:30 p.m.
"We welcome everyone to come and try out a program or check out their next favorite book," Seivert said.
