Sam Pas won the 220-pound title and two other wrestlers placed second, leading Okoboji/H-M-S to a fourth-place team finish in their home invitational on Dec. 3.
An 8-5 victory in the championship match gave Pas the title. Dylan Jones finished second in the 126-pound bracket and Noah Strantz was runner-up at 160.
Four wrestlers from H-M-S placed, led by James Gellerman who finished third at 182 pounds. He won by fall over Connor Brown, of Sioux Central, in 1:52, and lost by fall in the semifinals to Parker Moritz, of Garner-Hayfield/Ventura, in 3:35. Gellerman won the third-place match, pinning Wyatt Haffner, of Graettinger-Terril/Ruthven-Ayrshire, in 17 seconds.
Placing fourth was Nathan Stofferan, who lost by fall in the 106-pound semifinals to Austin Hansen, of Estherville-Lincoln Central, in 0:56. Stofferan was pinned by Kaleb Feld, of Garner-Hayfield/Ventura, in 0:58 during the third-place match.
Ethan Wiersma lost his opening-round match at 195 pounds to Cristian Witt-Delcid, of Sioux Central, 10-3. In the consolation bracket, Wiersma pinned West Sioux’s Kaleb Ver Hoeven in 1:53 and won by fall over Aiden Deim, of Estherville-Lincoln Central, in 3:12. In the fifth-place match, Wiersma came back to pin Witt-Delcid in 4:37.
Jafet Ortiz placed sixth at 113 pounds. He lost by fall to Caleb Swedin, of GT/RA, in 0:29, and was pinned by Reid Persinger, of West Sioux, in 1:25.
Bryce Dodge did not place at 152 pounds. He lost by fall to Quinten Lewis, of Fulda/MCC, in 5:17, and to Radyn Neal, of Bishop Heelan, in 3:51.
Other results for Okoboji/H-M-S were a fifth-place finish by Nathaniel Franklin at 170 pounds and a sixth-place finish by Michael Gonnerman at 126.
Bishop Heelan and West Hancock tied at the top of the team standings with 170 points. North Union was third with 160.5, followed by E-LC 156.5, Okoboji/H-M-S 124, West Sioux 121, Garner-Hayfield/Ventura 112, GT/RA 103.5, Fulda/MCC 84.5, Sibley-Ocheyedan 78 and Sioux Central 50.

Wrestlers from Okoboji/H-M-S competed in a JV tourney hosted by Sheldon on Nov. 28. Results for wrestlers from H-M-S were as follows.
