H-M-S seniors to continue football careers
Two Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn seniors will continue their football careers with area colleges next fall. Keevyn Jacobsma and Travis Kamradt signed their letters of intent during the national signing day on Feb. 1.
Jacobsma will join the football program at the University of Sioux Falls. He is listed as a tight end in the official signing release. He is an Iowa All-State First Team athlete and was twice all-district. Jacobsma is the son of Ryan and Becky, and plans to major in Biology at USF.
Kamradt signed a letter of intent to play football at Morningside University in Sioux City. He excelled on both sides of the ball during his career at H-M-S. As a senior he rushed for 1,204 yards and 15 touchdowns, and recorded 57 tackles on defense.
The son of Brad and Angie, Kamradt was a Class A District 1 first-team selection in 2021, when he was also the Defensive MVP, and again in 2022.
