• Cause of fire is questioned
Authorities are questioning what caused a fire that destroyed a house at 3730 Roosevelt Avenue. The fire was reported at approximately 2:25 a.m. on Feb. 10.
The report stated an unoccupied house was fully engulfed in flames and the roof had collapsed into the basement as the Primghar Fire Department arrived at the location northwest of Primghar. No attempt was made to save the structure. No other buildings were threatened by the fire.
The cause of the fire is under investigation as the fire department and law enforcement believe it was of a suspicious nature. Tire tracks were found at the scene.
