This year's choir is comprised of 56 members.
"Light" was a recurring theme in the musical selections performed during the Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn fall vocal concert on Oct. 26.
The 56-member choir performed "Cantate Domino," "Through Love to Light" and "True Light." Soloists for the final number were Jamie Diaz and Jordan Lux.
Shayla Henderson and Isabel Back also sang "This Little Light of Mine."
Emery Cammann and Lux sang portions of the music they learned for All-State auditions on Oct. 21. Director Kristi Daggett commended their commitment to going through the audition process. She noted that only 25 of the sopranos from northwest Iowa schools who auditioned were chosen to sing in the All-State chorus.
The concert began with "The Star-Spangled Banner" and "Song for the Unsung Hero," which the choir will perform during the Veteran's Day program on Nov. 10 at the high school.
