Seven members of H-M-S Dance Attack performed on the All-Iowa Honor Dance Team last Saturday during the Class 4A girls' basketball championship game at Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines.
Auditions for the All-Iowa Honor Dance Team were held last fall at Newton Community Schools. Members were chosen based on ability, attitude, dedication and leadership qualities.
Fifty dancers participated in the pre-game performance last Saturday while 252 were featured during halftime. H-M-S Dance Attack members who participated include Heather Elgersma, Jackie Ramirez, Jamie Diaz, Natalie Daggett, Emma Vollink, Delaney Murphy and Kinsey Schirmer.
