I.E.F Women's Club marks 50th anniversary

The I.E.F. Women's Club celebrated 50 years of "Ideas, Enthusiasm and Fun" on April 15. All five decades of the club were represented with former and current members enjoying the evening filled with meeting and greeting, reconnecting and reminiscing, all while sharing stories and lots of laughs.

In 50 years the I.E.F. Club has held many fundraisers, which has allowed it to give back to the Hartley community and surrounding areas through multiple donations, community events and projects. Some of the many beneficiaries have been Hartley ambulance, fire department, library, parks and recreation department, H-M-S Back Pack Program, preschool, H-M-S scholarship program, and more.

The club has enjoyed so many fun activities through the years, toured many interesting locations and businesses, and hosted many speakers from whom members have learned so much. Best of all, they've been blessed with lasting friendships along the way.

If you are interested in meeting new friends, serving the community and having fun, the club is always open to new members. For more information, please contact Laura Lux, Lauri Van Iperen, Debra Henderson or Brenda Espey.
