Upcoming events at Hartley Public Library
Several events are planned at the Hartley Public Library in July.
July 13: 9 a.m.-noon, Partners with Patriots will bring in their service dogs to socialize with patrons.
July 15: 4-6 p.m., D&L Ceramics will bring in molds for patrons to paint and glaze. Price varies by size but cost will be between $20-$40.
July 30: 5-6 p.m., Between the Covers chats about Agatha Christie’s best-selling murder mystery “And Then There Were None.” Copies can be picked up at the circulation desk.
Summer programs offered by OBCC
O’Brien County Conservation is offering several programs and activities this summer for participants of all ages.
Join Naturalist Lindsey Kleinhesselink for a short educational program while enjoying coffee, treats and conversation. The next program will be held from 9:30-11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 10, at the Mill Creek Park lodge. This program is free of charge and open to adults.
Kleinhesselink is also visiting libraries in the county. She will be at the Sheldon Public Library at 3 p.m. on July 11, and at the Hartley Public Library at 10 a.m. on July 15.

Meadowbrook plans walleye supper
Meadowbrook Golf & Country Club will host a “Ready, Set, Walleye Friday” supper on Friday, July 12 starting at 5 p.m. The meal includes walleye fingers, fries and salad bar.

Regular hours at Royal library
Hours at the Royal Public Library are Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, 3-5 p.m.; and Tuesday and Saturday, 9:30-11:30 a.m.
HLC food pantry
Current hours for the food pantry at Hope Lutheran Church in Everly are Wednesdays from 1-3 p.m. Everyone is allowed to come in and pick out their food.
