• Injured in motorcycle accident
The Clay County Sheriff’s Office reported that Wayne Sorgdrager, 44, of Hartley, was southbound on 330th Street near Lost Island Lake at 3 p.m. on Sept. 1 when he failed to negotiate a curve. He was thrown off the 1996 Honda Shadow he was riding as it traveled into the ditch.
The report stated that Sorgdrager was taken by ambulance to Spencer Hospital with injuries to his chest, arms and legs. No damage estimate was reported.
Sorgdrager was cited for Failure to Have a Valid Motorcycle Endorsement and Failure to Provide Security Against Liability.
