Roger G. Struve, 71, Rossie

A memorial service for Roger G. Struve was held Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2024, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Royal. Burial will be held at a later date in Lincoln Township Cemetery at Rossie. Warner Funeral Home assisted with the arrangements.

Roger G. Struve, the son of Gordon and Elaine (Steinbeck) Struve, was born June 7, 1953 in Spencer. His childhood years were spent in the Rossie area and he attended Clay Central School, graduating in 1971.

Roger enlisted in the U.S. Army and served until his Honorable Discharge. He worked as a bartender and at the Rossie Elevator. He married Annette Pinker on Dec. 1, 1991 in Rossie. He enjoyed listening to music, playing darts, photography and spending time with friends and family.

Roger passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2024 at Spencer Post Acute Rehabilitation Center, at the age of 71. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; one brother, Monte; and one sister, Rhonda.

Left to cherish his memory are his sister, Sondra Dolphin (David Koch), of Hartley; one niece, Jessica (Neil) Allen, of Land O’ Lakes, Fla.; one nephew, Jake (Raycha) Dobbins, of Wesley Chapel, Fla.; two great-nieces, Sophia and Skylar Allen; five great­nephews: Landon Allen, Ethan and Isaac Dobbins, and Joel and Luis Cardona; other relatives and many friends.
