Several local groups benefited from HSB's generosity.
Royal's downtown businesses held their annual open houses last Wednesday. Businesses handed out treats and goodies, CC/E students braved the cold to carol around town, and Home State Bank distributed its annual Christmas donations.
Benefactors of HSB's generosity include: Royal American Legion Auxiliary, Linda Yungbluth; Royal American Legion, Allen Batschelet; Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Pastor Mark Wilms; CC/E Girl Scouts, Darcy Teepe, Saige Smires, Jerzey and Kimber Ann Smires; Camp Autumn/Season's Center, Stephanie Pohar; Clay County Food for Life, Keith Kruse; PBIS at CC/E, Marlana Tewes; Respite Angels, Inc., Kelly Schultz (not shown); Royal Public Library, Laura Berberich; Royal Community Action, Ann Santage; Royal Fire and Rescue Department, Sherman Nielsen; and Royal United Methodist Church, Chuck Kuester.
Home State Bank's 2024 annual Christmas donations totaled $4,725.
