Toft's Thoughts

Her flowers, all yellow, put their face to The Son,

Wrapped in the warmth of abundant, everlasting love.

They bask in the delight that He freely gave,

Knowing that her dues have already been paid.

Her flowers need not water, such needs have all been met,

She is seated at His table at which her place was already set.

The yellow now shines brighter on her richest bouquet,

Heaven, what she longed for, is now where she spends her days.

We hold dear each moment, each cherished memory,

Praying that in each of us shines through her greatest qualities,

Her grace, patience, joy, warmth, faith and love,

We miss her dearly, yet know she watches from above.

Her flowers, all yellow, remind us how to live,

With open arms and hearts, to always freely give.

Our hearts break at this earthly loss, we long to see her face,

But The Son's promise is eternity, we'll be reunited at Heaven's gates.
